As a retired member of the Canadian National Women's Soccer team and a successful head soccer coach and college professor in both the United States and Canada, Cathy knows the importance of teaching, coaching, and mentoring to build successful teams.
In 2012, Cathy began volunteering in the service dog industry and became passionate about dog training. She has since trained over 300 puppies to become future service dogs and has now dedicated herself full-time to dog training.
At Games4Dogs, we specialize in puppy training, dog training, online dog training, and group dog training lessons. Our services are designed to provide you and your dog with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive. We believe that dogs of all ages benefit from consistent positive training to become well-behaved, obedient, and happy pets.
Cathy's love for dog training began with her desire to have a well-behaved and confident furry companion by her side at all times. When others saw how well-behaved her own dog, Quincey, was, they often asked for her help in developing their own dream dog. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Cathy decided to devote herself full-time to developing Games4Dogs so she could help even more people in her hometown of Dundas.

Like most people, I have witnessed first hand the important role dogs play in supporting mental health during these ever changing times. I'm deeply committed to helping others develop their dog in ways that support mental health and connection with others. As owner and Head Trainer, Cathy created Games4Dogs to help people develop a strong relationship with their dog so that they can accompany you anywhere dogs are permitted. Our goal is to help show you how to teach your dog how to be super adaptable, well mannered and confident no matter where you are together. A dog that loves being by your side is a life enriching companion that seldom gets left at home and instead gets to accompany you on many adventurers. With a PhD centred in education, and her own proprietary dog training curriculum found in her ebooks called the Positive 7 Puppy Training System, Cathy proudly teaches you and your pet how to use SIMPLE.
